Liberty League International. Ever heard of it? Well, if you’re in direct sales, you should know all about this company. Remember? They’re the ones that sell the Beyond Freedom, Liberty conference, and Summit conference packages? Well, let me fill you in.
Brent Payne helped found Liberty league International. The idea behind the company closely follows the education offered by Life Path Unlimited (and coincidentally, Patrick Combs attended as a guest speaker at some of LLI’s conferences). Basically, the company sought to teach individuals how to break out of the regular flow of life and live your life long dream of riches and prosperity. LLI started in 2000 and achieved quite a few note-worthy recognitions. However, because it did not adhere to some of the state regulations and guidelines, Liberty League International was fined $114,000. At that point, LLI got a little bit lost in the tracks and had accusations like “scam” written all over about it. As a result, Brent Payne took the company a different direction.
Today, Liberty League International is no longer in business. The company closed its doors, and instead, Brent Payne started Avant. Avant sells extremely similar and almost identical products to LLI.
Brent Payne Products
Elevate is a 72-day home-based personal development program with a set of cds, a journal, guidebook, and such. The course runs $1,595, and acts as the first step in transformation.
The second product offered by Avant includes Transform, which is a short 3-day event. During this conference, you meet up with others in the Avant community, attend personal development and coaching sessions, go to a black tie dinner event and openly discuss your transformation with the others who attended the conference. This event will cost $9,495 (without airfare).
Finally, you have the opportunity to go through Transcend. This is the third and final product in the Avant series. It retails at $16,495. For five days, you stay in an exotic location, where you go through a series of events to help transform you, listen to surprise keynote speakers, and receive similar coaching and personal development sessions like you did at the Transform conference. After you have completed the program, you are said to be prepared to achieve the life you want and succeed in all your endeavors.
Now, there is discussion on various websites that Brent Payne actually changed his program prices and lowered them quite drastically. However, this is just heresay. Customers may possibly be able to find products for as low as the $100 and $200 range. Again, those cuts supposedly took place in January of 2011, but only a few websites note that change.
Changes Made By Brent Payne From Avant
Again, these products are just about exactly the same as Payne’s previous program at LLI. Brent Payne has the same competition as well. These products run a similar cost and course to Life Path Unlimited.
Are the products superior?
Given the track record of Liberty League International, I would argue that they’re the same. I’m sure Mr. Payne has altered and improved some of the products to ensure smoother operation. In that way, Avant customers are getting a more experienced CEO on their hands. I don’t think LLI stopped producing because of any problem with its products. It seems like its reputation was destroyed by the negative publicity with its fines, which could have happened anywhere, and those fines did not actually put the company out. It still had the power to stay in operation and sell products. Its products were deemed viable and solid. As to compare it to Life Path Unlimited, I don’t honestly know. You would have to try both and speak for yourself.
