Setting the Standard For Top-Tier MLM Products

MLM How TO

For many people, finding top-tier MLM products to sell isn’t the problem. They can’t get past the whole stigma of MLM in general.

In some cases, the bad rap is justified. At some point in life just about everybody has known the uber-annoying MLMer who touts what they claim is the latest and greatest top-tier MLM product out there. But most of us are turned off and run away long before we even consider the products at hand.

And we’ve all heard the horror stories of the home-based entrepreneur with a garage or basement full of MLM products, all paid for but that nobody wants to buy. But top tier or not, when MLM products don’t sell, it’s pretty hard to run a profitable business.

It’s not surprising, then, that multi-level marketing suffers from a really bad reputation. Many wannabe home-based entrepreneurs, desperately seeking a way to generate a substantial income from home, turn away from MLM for this reason.

As it turns out, that could be a huge mistake.

The reality is that running a home-based multi-level marketing business selling a legitimate top-tier MLM product is an excellent way to make a living. In fact, if you set it up correctly and find the right product, it can be downright lucrative.

Selling a top-tier MLM product is clearly important. But there’s more to it than that. The MLM business model, with its geometric scalability, is what gives it the potential of being so profitable.

The true business value and potential of MLM shouldn’t be underestimated, by anyone. Financial experts have weighed in time and time again about the merits of the multi-level marketing business model.

Fortune Magazine called direct marketing—which MLM is—“the best-kept secret of the business world.” The fact that MLM is a $100 billion global industry might have something to do with that statement. Investment guru Warren Buffet called his acquisition of an MLM company one of the best investments he ever made. And author Tom Peters, whose groundbreaking books, such as In Search of Excellence, have been a staple of business schools for years, calls MLM the “first truly revolutionary shift in marketing in the last 50 years.”

The takeaway here is that MLM can become a very solid business. The proof is irrefutable.

So why do so many entrepreneurs – estimates put the number at 97% – fail with MLM? Some experts contend that “old school” MLM relies upon a flawed set of tactics and operational procedures.

But the real reason is probably something else. Too many MLM entrepreneurs focus primarily on the “opportunity” that an MLM business, by definition, provides. They center their efforts around recruiting others to join them in the business. For most of these people, the focus of their due diligence is on the compensation plan and how the business scales—according to the information published by the MLM company itself.

Therein lies the problem. The key to launching a successful home-based MLM business has nothing to do with the opportunity. In reality, success depends on finding a company that offers a top-tier MLM product. The reason for this is simple.

At the heart of every business transaction is an equal exchange of value. And with a top-tier MLM product in place, that value exchange takes care of itself. When someone buys into a high-value, top-tier MLM product that they really believe in, getting them to join the opportunity is almost an afterthought—if the product is positioned properly, the customer will literally sell themselves on the concept.

The obvious question, then, is what exactly constitutes a top-tier MLM product? The easiest way to explain it is to evaluate one and examine what makes it so appealing.

Wealth Masters International

Wealth Masters InternationalAn excellent example of a top-tier MLM product is offered by Wealth Masters International (WMI). The Wealth Masters business model is based on financial education aimed at helping individuals to create and preserve wealth.

The WMI offering is really a multi-tiered MLM product. At the heart of the WMI program is an entry-level product, the mPOWER, which enables someone to initially buy into WMI at a very affordable price point—under $500. The mPOWER program then links seamlessly to the next WMI offering, the m1 MASTERS program.

The m1 is the cornerstone of the WMI educational system. It is a combination of DVDs and workbooks that sells for around $2,000. According to WMI, the m1 program allows a person to make incremental changes in their personal finance. The company says that making a 1% improvement a day for 100 days yields 100% improvement. Whether this is true or not, selling several m1 products a month yields a respectable cash flow from a side business. But WMI doesn’t stop there.

The next two offerings are what make WMI an industry leader when it comes to top-tier MLM products. The m2 Wealth Conference and the m3 Private Wealth Group Retreat are essentially tickets that provide access to these events. They cost around $10,000 and $20,000 respectively—clearly big ticket items.

And that is the key to massive success in MLM. It would take 5,000 individual sales of a $200 product to reach that magical $1 million—the proverbial 7-figure—income mark. But simply selling 50 individual units of a top-tier MLM product like Wealth Masters would put an entrepreneur at the same place. If you consider the fact that every m3 sale also includes an m1 and m2—company policy—the $1 million mark would be reached by selling only about 3 deals a month.

Is this a top-tier MLM product? Clearly it is. WMI really got it right when rolling out its program. The one final, added benefit is that WMI entrepreneurs are selling information and event tickets. There is no manufacturing involved, so there is no inventory to buy and maintain. It is an exceptionally streamlined business model.

It becomes clear that Wealth Masters offers a very lucrative business opportunity. But it should also be clear that there is a top-tier MLM product at the core of it—as there is with every superior MLM business opportunity.

That, then, is where to start. For anyone looking to launch a profitable home-based direct sales business, first find a solid, top-tier MLM product. Look for something that provides exceptional cash flow, doesn’t require inventory, and that virtually everyone can benefit from. With that kind of top-tier MLM product in place, massive success is right around the corner
